Pakistan and Australia are ready to head into the third day of the second Test at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. Australia will resume from their overnight score of 22 for the loss of one wicket, trailing Pakistan’s mammoth first innings score of 570 for six by 548 runs. Younis Khan scored his fifth double ton as Pakistan declared at 570 for six on the second day of the second Test between Pakistan and Australia played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Azhar Ali and Misbah-ul-Haq also scored centuries for Pakistan.
The post-lunch session turned out to be a good one from Pakistan’s perspective as it saw a couple of records being created by Younis. He also scored his fifth double ton and dismantled the Australian bowling attack. Misbah joined the party too, with a terrific 101 before being dismissed by Steven Smith.
The post-tea session saw the departure of Younis for a well-made 213. Misbah finally declared the innings as Pakistan touched 570. Australia started on a good note with Warner smashing boundaries off the first two balls of the innings. However, Chris Rogers was dismissed for just five by Imran Khan as the umpires called for stumps with the score reading 22 for one.
