India Women were 264 for the loss of one wicket at lunch on Day 2 of the only Test match against South Africa Women at Mysore on Monday. Thirush Kamini was batting on 129, while Poonam Raut was batting on 123.
Earlier, India Women had lost their first wicket early as Smriti Mandhana was dismissed after having scored just eight runs by Chloe Tryon. As many as seven South African bowlers tried to dismiss the established pair of Kamini and Raut, but they were unable.
The duo have played slowly, and taken their time to build their innings. Kamini has taken 350 balls to score 129, whereas Raut has taken 336 balls to score 123.
