The Indian Premier League 2015 (IPL 8) will be played from April 8, 2015 to May 24, 2015. The dates for the eighth edition of IPL were announced on its official website, Tuesday afternoon.
Along with the 2015 edition, the governing council has also announced the dates for the next two seasons, 2016 and 2017 respectively. The 2016 edition will be played from 8 April 2016 to 29 May 2016. The IPL 2017 will be played in the April 5, 2017 to May 21, 2017.
Similar to the 2011 edition, this time around too, the IPL season will be held just over a week after the ICC World Cup. While the ICC World Cup 2015 concludes with the final on March 29, the IPL begins in 10 days on April 8.
