What comes as an enormous boost to Scotland cricket is the return of Paul Collingwood at the helm of affairs,resuming duties as the head coach prior to the ICC World Cup 2015 in February.
According to TheScotsman, Collingwood will share coaching responsibilities with Craig Wright leading the Scots into the world cup.He also played a massive role in Scotland’s qualification for the ICC World Cup 2015. “It’s a great pleasure for me to be back on the coaching team with the Scotland squad for the 2015 World Cup,” he said.
The former England and Durham captain’s experience will hold the minnows in good stead as they hope to make a mark in cricket’s marquee tournament to which they themselves return after a gap of 8 years
