Rohit Sharma registered the record of highest individual score in a One-Day International. He has gone past Virender Sehwag’s 219 scored against West Indies. Rohit surpassed the mark with a six off the bowling of Shaminda Eranga.
Earlier, Rohit became the first batsman to score two One-Day International (ODI) hundreds. Rohit got to his double hundred in 151 balls. Rohit hit 25 fours and five sixes in his innings.
Rohit had earlier scored a 147-ball 209 against Australia in November 2013.
