Shahid Afridi has vowed to provide some winter relief to the Internally Displaced Persons( IDP’s) at their relief camp. The public-sprited Afridi took up charity work in June this year, via his foundation that provides relief and essentials to internal refugees in addition to having set up a maternity hospital in the Tangi Banda village of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa according to DAWN.COM.
Afridi also heaped praise on the Pakistan army for helping people who were victims of army operations, in response the Corps Commander promised swift rehabilitation to the people affected will be provided by the Pakistan army. Afridi also played an exhibition match in the relief camp of IDP’s in Bannu, another reflection of his benevolence.
