Tamim Iqbal holds the record of fastest and slowest Test century by a Bangladesh batsman

Bangladesh opener, Tamim Iqbal on Tuesday created the record of scoring the slowest ever Test century by a Bangladeshi batsman. Tamim scored his century off 312 balls against Zimbabwe that included 10 boundaries. His total score of 109 came off 332 balls which is really a long innings for any batsman compared to the runs he scored in an innings.

Interestingly, Tamim also holds the record of fastest Test century by a Bangladeshi batsman. He scored 100 against England back in 2010 off just 94 balls at Manchester. It’s really interesting for Tamim to hold both the records with one being on a good note and other being a sad one.
